Hello!
I’m Evelyn Rogers, BSW, MSW, LCSW, and I’m excited to support you on your journey towards healing and growth. Currently, I am pursuing DSW, focusing on advanced clinical practice and supervision with the goal of developing leadership skills in clinical instruction and practice.

As a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (GA/NC), my mission is to create a safe and empowering space for women to explore their experiences, heal from trauma, and foster resilience. Together, we will work towards personal growth, self-empowerment, and holistic well-being, honoring your identity and journey every step of the way.

My Core Belief
I believe healing happens when individuals feel seen, heard, and emotionally safe enough to tell the truth about their experiences — without shame.
Therapy is not about “fixing” you. It is about helping you understand you.
Every person already carries the capacity for resilience, growth, and transformation. My role is to help you access it, strengthen it, and apply it in real life.

My Clinical Approach
My work integrates:
-
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – to challenge distorted thinking patterns
-
Trauma-informed care – to ensure safety, regulation, and pacing
-
Attachment-based work – to explore relationship dynamics
-
Emotional regulation skill-building
-
Narrative therapy – to help rewrite internal stories
-
Boundary and identity work
I focus heavily on:
-
Emotional awareness and labeling
-
Boundary clarity and enforcement
-
Self-worth reconstruction
-
Communication skills
-
Breaking generational patterns
-
Healing from abandonment and relational trauma

Therapy with me is reflective, structured, and practical. You will leave sessions with insight and application.

The Role of Accountability
Insight without action does not create change. I believe therapy should extend beyond the session. Clients are encouraged to practice new behaviors, communication strategies, boundary-setting, and emotional regulation skills between sessions. Growth is uncomfortable, however, it is necessary. I will challenge you gently and respectfully because healing requires honesty.

My Philosophy on Healing
Healing is not linear; it is layered. You may revisit old wounds at deeper levels as you grow. That is not regression because it is refinement. Therapy is not about staying in pain.It is about transforming pain into power.

I believe in:
-
Restoring emotional regulation
-
Strengthening identity
-
Clarifying values
-
Redefining relationship standards
-
Breaking cycles
-
Building resilience

The Outcome I Hope For You
When therapy concludes, I hope you:
-
Trust your intuition
-
Set boundaries without guilt
-
Communicate clearly
-
Regulate emotions effectively
-
Make aligned decisions
-
Know your worth without external validation

My goal is not for you to depend on therapy forever. It is for you to internalize the tools so that you become your own safe place.
